Cost of Dental Implants

The dental implant process can be very transforming for patients, providing a dramatic improvement to their quality of life.  Dr. Matthew Parker and his team believe that every patient deserves the best care available to them.  With that being said it’s important to understand that there are several factors to consider when discussing dental implants, each of which are different for every patient we treat:

  • How many implants will you need to gain the smile and function you’ve been missing?
  • Are additional procedures going to be needed to ensure you have the quality foundation necessary for Dr. Parker to place implants?
  • What type of final restoration is going to give you the smile and long-term function you are seeking?

At Parker Periodontics and Implant Dentistry we always strive to craft an individualized treatment plan specific to your needs that we feel will get you healthy while also improving your smile and quality of life.  At your initial evaluation with Dr. Matthew Parker you will receive all the information you need to understand the cost of dental implants.  We are skilled at working with patients on finding the best financial plan available to work within their budget so cost never has to be a deterrent to getting healthy and smiling again.

What to Expect During Your Initial Evaluation

When you first meet with Dr. Parker our main goal is to get to know you. The better we understand your wants and needs, the better we are able to deliver the best long-term solution for you.  We will spend some time educating you about the dental implant process and what options are available to you.  At Parker Periodontics and Implant Dentistry we use state of the art dental technology to aid in the customization of treatment plans for each individual patient.  A three-dimensional, cone beam CT scan is the best diagnostic tool available in helping Dr. Parker virtually chart your case and deliver the most predictable outcome for you.

Cost of Potential Additional Procedures

There are many factors to consider before placing dental implants.   With the cone beam CT scan Dr. Parker is able to analyze your jaw to determine if any additional procedures will be needed in preparation for successful implant placement:

  • How long have you been missing teeth?
  • Is there sufficient bone to place implants or will bone grafting procedures need to be completed first?
  • If implants are needed in the upper jaw, is any sinus augmentation needed at the time of implant placement?

Any of these such procedures are essential to the success and longevity of dental implants and can also increase the overall cost of your dental implant treatment process.

Final Restorations

Throughout your implant process Dr. Parker will work closely with your general dentist, keeping them updated periodically on the status of your treatment.  After several months of implant integration Dr. Parker will release you back to your general dentist for the final restoration process on your implants.  This phase will also play a role in the financial piece of the overall implant process.

Insurance and Financing

While dental implants can improve your overall quality of life by giving you back the ability to chew, the confidence to smile and increasing your oral health, many insurance companies to do not cover the placement of dental implants.  At Parker Periodontics and Implant Dentistry we are experts at helping you maximize your dental benefits in conjunction with a financial plan that makes your desire for dental implants a reality.  Let us help YOU achieve the smile you’ve always wanted!  Call our practice today to get scheduled in for YOUR evaluation with Dr. Parker and his highly specialized team.

Life After Implants

We believe that the investment you make financially shouldn’t be taken lightly.  Dr. Parker highly recommends our implant patients continue to see us annually following their treatment to ensure they are continuing to thrive and gain as much enjoyment as possible from their improved smile, increased functionality, and enriched quality of life.
